Saturday, February 26, 2005 [tphtrdd tr[pty... ...Or "Progress Report" had my fingers been on the right keys.I do that a lot. Type with my fingers on the wrong keys. I recently did a project for the company I work for. My contact person literally emailed the other parties involved with this comment: ..."she's really great at design, but has problems with grammar and spelling." Well at least I got one complement. But I cannot be insulted because I truly am terrible with grammer and spelling (I can also go down a whole 'nother road with my people and communication skills... but maybe another day). This is not what my entry was supposed to be about, it just kinda started that way because once again, I had my fingers on the wrong keys. I simply wanted to show John's progress on the built-in units.

Tuesday, February 15, 2005 What?! Did you think Rome was built in a day? This is my rendering of what I was thinking for our livingroom as built in shelving.![]() This is where we're at. ![]() It may not be quite as "extravagant" as I was thinking, but it's close. He's so talented. Messy, but talented. posted by me | 9:37 PM | 1 comments Friday, February 11, 2005 Weekend (weekday) warrior Man! John is just a project fiend lately. These are all the projects he's done since Saturday 2/5/05First he added storage space to to mud room: ![]() Then there was the new hole: And then the living room: BEFORE: ![]() AFTER: ![]() We're going to put bookshelves on top. The catwalk is for easy access. Then he's adding equipment and movie storage on the bottom. How crazy is he?!?! And cute too. {{{Grrrrrroowl}}}. Sadly he must return to work next week....sigh. posted by me | 6:03 PM | 1 comments Tuesday, February 08, 2005 John likes holes So, it's that time of year again. The time of year when John has not had enough work to keep his mind busy, so it strays to crazy thoughts of "we need a hole in the wall." This is a common occurance. I've arrived home from work on many occasions, only to find he managed another hole in a wall. Yesterday was no exception.I called home when I was leaving work to see how Devin was doing (as he was home sick). Devin answered the phone. I asked him how he was (fine) and if his dad was home (yes) and what was dad up to? (Oh mom, do you really want to know?). Translation: New hole in the wall. posted by me | 8:59 PM | 2 comments |
