JUST ONE MORE POST BEFORE I LEAVE.

So, I was tagged by Hizzle (thanks for that). I don’t play tag well, I have a tendency to trip over my own feet and bump into things. Plus I never holler “no tags back” fast enough.

But here goes.

5 weird habits about me.

1. I do not care if my undergarments do not match, nor am I a fashion plate. But I need my mostly unseen navel ring to match my shirt. I do not know why.

2. I need everything in my house to align. Parallel/Perpendicular. Except that round room, for some reason it doesn’t bother me that the furniture doesn’t align in the round room.

3. I will take a shower in the morning even if I know I will be doing nothing but dirty work all day long, not see another person all day long, and have to take a shower at the end of the day anyway.

4. I “face” the products in my pantry just like a supermarket. Sometimes alphabetically. And I teach my kids to rotate stock. I’ve never worked in a grocery store.

5. I, like Hizzle, have only one way to fold a towel. My way. As much as I would like towels that match every bathroom’s individuality, all my towels are white as we ordered bulk stock of towels to embroider and hand out to clients and kept half for ourselves. So I just pretend.

Sorry blogger pals, I can’t tag anyone, mom said it’s time to come in.

A tad OCD are we? Towels really should be folded a certain way, I'm with you on that.

Wow.

It's the pantry thing that I admire most. My Nana used to alphabetize her spices and I found it truly inspiring.

You have a round room? That is so cool.

We built a round room too. ours is empty. I can decided what I want to do with it. So I leave the french doors shut so no one knows that I have a room with no furniture in it and no prospects of design.

I too organize my pantry alphabeically and by shelf. Boxed foods are all on one shelf and canned is on another. People who come over to my house usually look at their husbands pointedly when they see this. I also do this with my spices.

Hey there! Thanks for the comment on my blog, it's always great to hear from someone new! So you're in town for the concrete convention, huh? Our Weather Guy loves that convention and has been talking about it all week! Oh and we have not always lived in Vegas, we only moved here two years ago. We lived in Massachusetts before this and then I was in Cleveland. So it has taken some getting used to the difference in people and climate here. Weird at times.

And I'm with you on the towel thing...so need to be folded my way.

I'm fascinated with this round room. If you ever have a chance please do post pics.

And come fix my pantry. we're happy if you open it and nothing falls on your feet. That's a good babyjewels day.

Hizzle: I actually have things separated by types of food. Like soup, canned fruit, boxed food etc. Kinda like you, we should compare notes.

Amanda: Sorry to hear you're sick. Was it strep? I tried to comment on your site, but somethings up with blogger.

Jewels: I'd love to do your pantry! Yeah, I know what I just typed.

I don't think I have any recent pics of the round room. but here's one from the construction phase about 3 years ago.
