Sunday, November 13, 2005 YET AGAIN, SOMEONE ELSE MAKES A PROFIT OFF A GREAT HARTIGAN IDEA ![]() Ask anyone who knows my daughter, she has always, ALWAYS, worn mismatched socks. Sure, it may have started at infancy because I was just too damned lazy to fold socks, let alone hunt down a matching pair. But to this day, she still wears mismatched socks, only now they at least match her outfit. For the last 4 years of her academic career she has constantly had to justify her individuality to her peers in regards to her mismatched socks. Even with constant teasing she has remained true to herself and her mismatched socks. I’ve been told I should write a children’s book about it. She’s even said how she should make it a fashion trend. And then someone stole her idea! I’ll bet you there’s not 3 degrees of separation between the “creators” and us. Just another great idea by a Hartigan stolen by “Those who have the resourses to bring it to life.” Bitches. (John created a prototype of the gas powered circular saw YEARS ago. Proposed it to every major tool manufacturer out there. The prototype mysteriously disappeared from our garage and 2 years later it’s on the market. AMAZING! He also created the idea of window flashing which is now code when building homes and modular units like Qbits way back in 1984) posted by me | 11:12 AM | 5 comments Comments: Post a Comment I love that they are mismatched but coordinate to the outfit. she's going to be creative like you. # posted by babyjewels : 11/13/2005 2:56 PMShe is so cute. Aww. I can't match one sock motif to my outfit, I can't imagine finding two matching sock designs! # posted by Christine : 11/13/2005 3:46 PMMy mother in law swears to high heaven she thought of the idea of an artificial Christmas three with the lights already on it years ago. And then they came out with it. She insists they wouldn't take her idea because she's jewish. # posted by TinaPoPo : 11/18/2005 11:06 AMAh yes jewels she is very creative.
