LEFT BRAIN, RIGHT BRAIN. VENUS, MARS. IT'S JUST INTERPRETATION.

I CAN GET A REALLY GOOD DEAL ON SOME RETAINING WALL BLOCK.

Friday, 9:00 am

Phone rings

Me: “Hello”

J: “Hey, I was just calling to let you know I got a really good deal on that rock I saw this weekend, they’re going to start delivering it today.”

Me: “O.K. Luv ya, bye.” Cool we can get a couple retaining walls in…wonder what he meant by ‘start delivering…’? Whatever, “Hey kids lets go get some ice cream!”

Friday, 3:00 pm

140 tons of rock later. Case you can’t tell, the pile ends at the arrow. They’re not done delivering yet.

Couple of retaining walls?

Sadly, with the plans he's laid out. I think he's going to run out of rock.

BABE, I NEED A HOLE...

Saturday, 9:00 am

J: “What are your plans for the day?”

Me: “You’re mom sent up some plants, I could really use a hole in the courtyard to plant them.”

J: “What kind of hole?”

Me: “Whatdoyamean ‘what kind of hole?’, just a hole.”

J: “Let’s go look at what you’re talking about.”

Me: “Whatdoyamean ‘let’s go look…’, I just want a hole.”

J: “Yeah but do you want…..?”

Saturday, 3:00 pm

John’s interpretation of “I need a hole.”

Yeah, I know. His interpreation of a hole is much prettier than mine.

I can't wait to see how this garden blooms next year. Thanks for the flowers Anita, I'm going to call it our "Anniversary Garden".

Left brain, right brain. Venus, Mars. Just plain crazy. Yeah, I can live with that..... most days.

I certainly hope you weren't planting flowers when you should have been reading Harry Potter! Or did you already have it finished by then;)

Welcome back Lynne!

Had to do this before I could go get the book (at 3:30 Saturday p.m.) Finished Harry Potter by Monday 9 am. I was so depressed at the ending I couldn't function for 2 days. I wish I would've reread the last book b4 I started reading this one cuz I forgot a lot of the things that happened. What did you think of it? I really hope she writes a brilliant ending to the tale. A happy ending.

My blogger is all hosed so I had to post anon.

oooooo...I should totally e-mail you my crazy theories! I feel like I have to talk in code about the book so I don't ruin it!
C'mon people! Read your books already!
But I really loved the book-even though I CANNOT wait for #7 now! So open ended!

I'm like the only person I know who reads HP. My kids don't even read them, they like to wait for the movies.

The Harry Potter books are great. They are so entertaining. Even if you've seen the movies. The movies leave so many great characters out.

Even if you've seen the movies you really should start with book 1 and read them. Now that the characters have a face and voice, I'd bet you'd find them even more fantastic Stacy.
