One of the most "up-and-coming" techniques in finishing concrete, stained concrete is just that, stained.

After the concrete has been poured, finished and cured, an acid stain in a variety of colors can be applied. After a day or so, the stain is washed off the concrete and sealed. Unlike Stamped, seamless texture or exposed aggregate concrete, stain can be applied to existing concrete. Patterns can be scored into the concrete and stained in multiple colors as well. The possibilities are only limited to the imagination.

Colored concrete is also something that you might be seeing more of lately. The color is applied directly into the concrete. Usually used with stamps or seamless textures it can create contrast, depth, warmth or add the extra creative edge needed to give your pool deck, patio, sidewalk or special project a "definitely not typical" look. You'll stand out from the crowd with colored concrete and be the envy of the entire neighborhood.
